A1 Alloys Ltd is committed to delivering the highest quality wheel refurbishment services. While we strive for excellence, certain unforeseen issues may arise during the refurbishment process. Please take note of the following terms and conditions:

Wheel Condition: A1 Alloys Ltd cannot be held responsible for unforeseen problems such as poor casting, hidden cracks, or excessive corrosion, which may only become apparent upon the removal of the existing wheel coating. If we believe that a cosmetically acceptable or safe finish cannot be achieved, we will contact the customer to discuss available options before proceeding.

Safety Standards: We reserve the right to refuse to complete the refurbishment process if our technicians determine that the wheel is not safe. Wheels classified as being in ‘very poor condition’ may incur an additional charge, with customers being informed prior to any additional work.

Finish Variations: Customers should be aware that high gloss finishes, such as Black Chrome or Bright Silver, may reveal blemishes more readily. While we strive to enhance your wheels significantly, we cannot guarantee perfection. Additional charges apply for achieving a ‘like-new’ finish or showroom-quality results.

Structural Integrity: A1 Alloys Ltd does not offer a warranty of any sort on the structural integrity of the wheel, and no guarantees are provided regarding the structural condition of the wheels.

Process Delays: Unforeseen delays within the refurbishment process may occur. Some wheels may require more time than standard processing.

Valve Replacement: We recommend fitting new wheel valves when replacing or fitting tyres. Standard rubber valves are provided at no additional cost, while alternative valves, such as metal, chromed sleeved, hidden, or small rubber valves, are available at an extra charge. We are not responsible for leaks from old valves refitted at the customer’s request.

Courier Transport: Customers are responsible for the transport of wheels delivered and collected by couriers they employ. Any courier contracted by A1 Alloys Ltd will carry adequate insurance.

Tyre Condition: We reserve the right not to re-fit damaged or illegal tyres.

Completion and Payment: Vehicles and wheels will not be released until payment is made in full. Vehicles/wheels not collected within agreed timescales may be subject to a storage fee. We will make every effort to contact customers for wheel collection; however, wheels not collected within 3 months of completion may be sold to recover costs.

Car on Site: All vehicles left on our premises must be fully covered by the owner’s insurance. Customers must provide the locking wheel nut keys if applicable. A1 Alloys Ltd is not responsible for goods left in the vehicle.

Computer Systems: A1 Alloys Ltd is not responsible for resetting vehicle computers/monitoring systems for tyre pressures. Owners should refer to their vehicle manual for this function.

Wheel Bolt Torque: When we fit wheels to a customer’s vehicle, we ensure proper torque with appropriate tools. However, customers are responsible for re-checking wheel bolts after an initial bedding-in period of 50 miles and at regular intervals as part of standard maintenance.

Warranty Information:

Painted Wheels: We offer a 6-month warranty against paint defects, provided that damage does not result from driver negligence or the use of corrosive wheel cleaners.

Diamond Cut Wheels: Our diamond cut wheels also come with a 6-month warranty, subject to the same conditions as painted wheels.

Two-Piece Wheels: These are subject to the same general warranty terms regarding painted and diamond cut areas. We offer a 6-month warranty against wheel bolt issues but do not provide a warranty on the bolts themselves unless they have been renewed.

Crack Repair & Wheel Straightening: Due to road conditions, we do not offer a warranty on alloy wheels that have undergone crack repair or straightening. This service is provided to possibly mitigate the need for a new wheel.

Corrosion: Please note that we do not cover corrosion. Using a car wash or chemical spray on your alloy wheels can cause corrosion. Any corrosion damage would invalidate our warranty.

Thank you for choosing A1 Alloys Ltd for your wheel refurbishment needs. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
