DIAMOND CUTTING
Diamond cutting is a technique that gives a painted wheel a polished face. This process is done before the lacquer is applied the the wheel. To diamond cut we use a specialised wheel turning lathe and computerised profile capturing. This state of the art method allows us precise control over the finished cut of the wheel and enables us to cut wheels that many other companies will not attempt.

Diamond Cutting
The diamond cutting process involves precision machining using a diamond-tipped lathe to create intricate patterns and designs on the wheel’s surface. This meticulous process removes a thin layer of metal, revealing a smooth, shiny surface with a brilliant, reflective finish. The result is a captivating contrast between the shiny, machined areas and the original colour of the wheel.
Diamond Cutting
More and more wheels are now diamond cut. It is easy to identify if your wheels are diamond cut, the way to tell is if the faces of the wheels are very shiny- almost like the back of a CD.
You can also see grain lines in the metal- this is where they have been turned on the lathe. They also have painted inserts; these can be any colour, usually black, silver or anthracite, but a full spectrum of colour can be offered.
