I originally chose this company because their Google reviews were glowing, but my experience couldn’t have been more different. The damage to my wheel was minor and superficial, and I dropped the car off around half eleven. To my surprise, they had it “fully refurbished” by four in the afternoon, which immediately struck me as suspiciously quick. In reality, they’d just rounded off the edge instead of actually fixing it properly, and now it looks far worse than it did before. Honestly, I’d have preferred the original minor damage rather than what I ended up with. When I questioned them, they gave me some flimsy excuse about how rebuilding the edge would cause bubbling. I’ve had wheels properly refurbished elsewhere without any such issues, so that just didn’t add up to me. It felt like a clear case of them rushing the job. What’s worse, when I raised my concerns, they made no genuine effort to put things right. I was basically told to just accept it as it was. After seeing this level of rushed work and the lack of care, I genuinely have to question how they’ve got so many positive reviews on Google. I certainly won’t be trusting them again.
A1 Alloys were very professional and knowledgeable about all things alloys They were able to repair a crack in my alloy with very short notice and to a high standard. Really appreciate their help. Check them out to won't be disappointed with their work.

After two weeks of driving with a faulty tyre, back and forth to the garage founding out how ridiculous using air at the petrol station can be! These guys solve the problem in less than 24 hrs 😁 Cannot praise them enough 👏👏

Just used this company for the 1st time. Refurbished my 4 alloys, with a complete colour change on my Merc S class, at short notice. The work carried out and the customer service given my both Justine and Spencer work both excellent. You MUST use this company for all your alloy wheel repairs etc. I will also be using this company again in the future for alloy wheel work on all my other cars, without hesitation. Found these guys online and local , Justine was amazingly helpful on the initial phone call. Same day service for 2 cracked alloys , needing repair and a refub. A outstanding job at a very reasonable price. I can't recommend A1 enough. Now saving to get my front 2 wheels refurbished
I had a cracked alloy and the tyre was leaking air. I went down and was very well looked after; they said it would take an hour, but they did it in around 45 mins. I can't tell you what a life saver it was. Great job guys, thanks for getting me back on the road

Took my Range Rover to A1 Alloys to have all 4 wheels refurbed, dropped the car off first thing in the morning and was ready by 4pm that day, A1 done an amazing job on the wheels and look amazing. I would definitely recommend A1 Alloys for anyone looking at getting a professional refurb on their wheels. 👍🏼

Went in there to have 4 alloys refurbished and powder coated black and they have come out looking absolutely incredible!! Would VERY highly recommend going to them. They are also at a very good price especially for the work and result! I have added before and after to show their incredible work!

So it may not be that the most popular names are the ones that give you the best service. Here's a tale of local company that bend over backwards to accommodate their customers. Punctures are a pain anytime but made doubly worse when you go to your local Kwik Fit only to be told that they snapped the locking wheel nut and the key had sheared off and is not stuck in the bolt. So no joy getting that fixed as it's late Saturday afternoon and the local Mercedes dealership is not open until Monday morning. Everybody knows that a trip down to Mercedes is never going to end well with your wallet so it was no surprise that I was told that it was going to costs hundreds to drill out the bolt, get a new key and change the remaining three wheels so they are uniformed. That's when A1 Alloys took the spotlight. Obviously I passed on the option Mercedes had offered but I was beyond delighted to see the guys at A1 do some twiddling around with the bolt insert a magnet to remove the sheared piece, order me a replacement key and fix the puncture simply by turning the wheel out and repairing while still on the car. So puncture fixed, new key ordered and a very happy wallet - love these guys.
Took a 17 in fiesta alloy with a buckle yesterday the boys repaired it and it had a small crack which they also welded £80 all in great job and price !!! Ready the next day would highly recommend unlike other places that wanted double cheers fellas

Had my wheels refurbed about 5 years back and they still look great now. Just realised they have part worn tyres too and got a new one fitted to my GLC for a great price. The guys were super helpful and did a nice job of fitting the tyre without scratching the pristine wheels. Highly recommend them.
